Abstract painting on canvas in bold bright colors. This abstract acrylic painting is an original by Dan Gouge.
Inspired by the late Jonas Gerard who was born in Casablanca, Morocco but lived in the United States most of his life and had a large art gallery in Ashville N.C. Jonas was quite a character who sometimes did live shows where he would paint in front of a live audience with a live orchestra and dance around while he painted. He made his technique look so simple and smooth while creating very large paintings with a cement trial. It isn't easy.
This acrylic abstract painting was created by applying paint to the canvas and moving and blending it with a large cement trial like Jonas used. No brush was used except for the white. Time and patients gave birth to this rich blend of colors that will brighten any room in your home or office. I have only painted 5 or 6 paintings using this technique because it is so difficult to do.
